Installation
Installing your system
What to Expect
Site Evaluation
We will evaluate the best path into your property. We are looking for ways to avoid trees or any important items on your property. If there is items that you are concerned about please make sure you review those with the installer prior to the start of the job. Aerobic systems will need a 30 amp disconnect. Please make sure a disconnect is available or included in your proposal. Your system will need to be filled up with water for inspection. Please make sure that you have access to water. We can arrange for a water truck, but there is an additional fee. Please let us know if there is anything that we need to know so that the job is meeting your expectations.
Excavation
We will be excavating a hole for your new septic with very large equipment. This will cause disturbance to any landscaping that is in the way. We are cautious, but the equipment is heavy and depending on soil conditions, will impact the entire area around the septic and our path from the road to the septic. Depending on the soil conditions we will be excavating for 1 - 3 days. If we are replacing a system, your existing system will remain usable during excavation.
Installation
We have taken care to work with you for the permit and the design. We will install your system based on these requirement from the engineer. There may be minor adjustment to make sure the tank has the proper flow from your house. This flow will dictate where the tank is and how deep the tank is placed. Installation of the tank and the field will vary based on type, but is typically 1 - 2 days. For most installations, your septic usage will only be disrupted for a few hours.
Inspections
Your system will receive a License to Operate issued by the County. Depending on the type of system and county of installation, your system will be inspected 1 - 3 times. Our installers will coordinate the inspections with the county. You do not have to be present. Please keep your License to Operate and all design documents in a safe place.
Maintenance & Monitoring
Aerobic Systems require Maintenance and Monitoring. The first two years are included with your installation of your system. We will be back every 4 months to inspect and report our findings to your county.
